Summer Plans

So this is my update on my plans for the summer. Next week (May 6-12) I’ll be taking a personal retreat at St. Peter’s Abbey, so I’ll be incommunicado. I’ve been looking forward to doing this for the last couple years, while it’s not as long as I’d like (I’d prefer two weeks), I really need some time to pray and reflect on what I want to do with myself now. Hopefully, I won’t have to come back into town for job interviews.

I’ll also be gone the two following weekends (the 19th and the 26th) for my cousin’s weddings (yaah!). They’re the first of my cousins to get married so I’m pretty pumped. Moving into June I have my graduation, graduation party, and a weekend trip to Calgary on the 14th to 17th. Finally, I’ve got my little sister’s Holy Cross grad at the end of the month. I’ll then be embarking on the great Germany trip from July 2nd to August 28th. Otherwise, I’m completely free this summer as I’m not taking a summer job (yaah!), and I’m generally going to goof off as much as possible.

Finally, the kitty and I are still getting along alright (or is it all right?). She seems to be out of the water as far as death from string consumption is concerned.
